Modifying the electronic unit for external power supply
With the help of the external battery connection cable, the Purivox bang alarm devices can be supplied with power very easily via a 12V car battery.
Installation instructions (If you order the item at a later date. In the case of a new device and the optional external battery connection cable, this is already installed).
You will need the following tools:
Drill 4mm and 10mm
M12 tap
Drill a 4mm hole in the centre below the on/off switch and the sticker. Then drill it out to 10mm. Use the thread cutter and cut an M12 thread into the front.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the circuit board.
Now insert the plug and the cable through the hole and tighten the cable gland. Now plug the white connector onto the circuit board.
You can now operate your firecracker with any standard 12V battery.

With the purchase of a new Purivox Triplex V in addition to the external power supply, we already install everything ex works! ONLY USABLE WITH PURIVOX TRIPLEX V MODELS. NOT SUITABLE FOR PURIVOX CAROUSEL TRIPLEX V UNITS.
