When working with laser systems from laser class 3R onwards, there is a risk of permanent eye damage from direct or indirect laser radiation. Suitable laser safety glasses certified according to DIN EN 207 provide reliable protection against hazardous radiation.
Laser safety glasses are equipped with special filters that specifically absorb or attenuate the energy of laser radiation. The frame also reduces lateral penetration of laser radiation. For optimal protection, wearing comfort, field of vision and daylight transmission should also be taken into account.
