The shielded Undavina herbicide spray nozzles are designed for clean and easy weed control up to the culture plant itself.
Due to the shielding of the Undavina, the risk of drift is minimized. With the special suspension system, spraying can be done on stable crops such as blueberries, grapevines, fruit trees, and many more. (For blueberries, the plants must be strong enough so that the Undavina does not break branches when in direct contact with the plant.)
The biggest advantage of the Undavina herbicide spray nozzles is the complete shielding for treatment right up to the culture plant. In the standard version, the shielding is achieved by the black "brushes." These brushes prevent drift and cause no damage to the culture plant.
This type of drift protection, however, is only usable on grapevines and in fruit growing. When used in low crops such as blueberries, an additional tarpaulin shield, which is placed over the entire Undavina spray nozzle, must be used.
The Undavina herbicide spray nozzles are equipped with a double flat spray nozzle that covers the full spray width.
Additionally, it is also possible to equip the Undavina with a rotary atomizer (CDA / ULV). The advantage of the CDA variant is that, due to the low dilution of the herbicide (1 part herbicide to 3-5 parts water), a large area performance can be achieved.
