Experience Report Purivox Carousel Triplex V
On the property of Kirchengut Demmin, 2 Purivox Carousel Triplex V units were installed for bird control. This was necessary to reduce feeding damage caused by the birds present.

Since the installation of the devices, the arrival of cranes has significantly decreased.
Feeding damage is now only sporadic.
Without this deterrence, reseeding would have been pointless, as the cranes were still very active in the fields in recent days. Apparently, they repeatedly target the same spots in the field.
Each device covered approximately 7 ha of field.
To protect local residents, we had to limit the firing intensity and volume to a minimum.

The Purivox Carousel Triplex V with digital time switch is a rotating gas cannon for bird control for large areas. The tripod allows the unit to stand securely on any surface. The Purivox Carousel Triplex V is used for fruit growing, viticulture, vegetable growing, arable farming, fish farming and on waste disposal sites. Due to its special design, the complete top structure is pivoted. When the device is triggered at random intervalls, the top structure starts to rotate due to the recoil. The two following shots cover an area of 360° around the unit. Various adjustment possibilities offer an individual adaptaion to the respective bird control. With the help of the electronic unit, the number of shots, irregular pause times as well as the volume can be adjusted in two steps. Furthermore, the analogue 24h time switch allows the adjustement of active and rest times. Operating principle The reliable 3-times shot enables the best possible bird control. The first shot will startle the birds and cause them to fly up. The second shot is fired shortly after the birds fly up and prevents them from settling down again.
