At Mr. Hörhager’s plantation, 4 bird of prey decoys (falcon) were set up for bird control. This was necessary to prevent destruction of terminal shoots by the birds present.
As Mr. Hörhager reports, in the Christmas tree plantations where the bird of prey decoys were set up, there was virtually no terminal shoot breakage!
For him, the use of the bird of prey decoys was a complete success, and Mr. Hörhager is very satisfied with the results.

The bird of prey kite (falcon) is an environmentally friendly and noiseless way for effective bird control. Therefore the kite can be used in the immediate vicinity of residential areas. The authentic replica of a falcon is made of weatherproof and tear-resistant Tyvek (synthetic material made of polyethylene fibre fleece). This polyethylene fibre is: extremely tearproof, waterproof, very light. Due to the very low weight, the kite moves even in light wind. The falcon has a span width of 1.11m. Operating principle The rising and wing-beating falcon causes a natural bird control of numerous bird species. Due to the very detailed replica of a falcon, other birds cannot tell the difference to a real falcon. For most birds, the falcon is a natural enemy. Therefore they avoid the areas where the falcon is located. Even a light breeze can provide a lasting and immediate defence.
The attachment line, which has a length of 1.8m, comes with a rotating clamp that prevents the line from twisting. With the help of the attachment line you can attach the bird of prey kite to the rod and allow a free flight of the kite.The attachment line is attached to the back of the kite.
